Meet the Makers

My Husband Michael and I were both born and raised here in Michigan all of our lives. We are Michiganders through and through. We love the nature and beautiful scenery our state has to offer. While my husband Michael has Narcolepsy with Cataplexy he still finds time to enjoy the great outdoors with hunting and fishing. Since 9th grade in high school I fell in love with the rustic themed items at the local craft bazaar and from there on I was hooked. At 17 I started doing more crafty type things like plastic canvas, cross-stitch and knitting. After meeting my husband we got to conversing about what types of crafts we both had done. My husband had mentioned he use to make sand and water candles and it peaked my interest. I had never tried anything like that so I figured I better stick to the wax in the jar it was safer. Since 2015 we have been making candles as a hobby learning as we went to create the best candle possible. Fast forward to 2022 we discovered that not all waxes are equal. Finally I was brave enough with my anxiety to turn my hobby into an actual business.
